No it isn't. I know this because I have acid reflux and my doctor told me pineapple helps counteract acid reflux, whereas citric fruit/acid CAUSES acid reflux. Also, if you take a orange or lemon peel and squeeze it in half to make the inside of the peel fold against itself, the outside of the peel will let out small amounts of citric acid, which is flammable if your holding it over a lighter, and nothing in or about pineapple is flammable
