steak is a very precise meat to cook to someones taste. with it being frozen that would make it even harder as by the time the core of the ribeye is how you like your steak the outside will be overdone. you would be best putting it into the fridge the day before use
the is basicly no difference between the 2 in new zealand, where i live, as we have a very high quality of beef and lamb products. but in other countries like America it my be different. The top sirloin steak would just be of a higher quality, so you could use sirloin steak, but there may be a slight difference in the "texture" of the meat. you may need to cook for less time or use more marinade if you are using marinade, ect, to regain some of the juicyness back to the meat. Don't use any oily marinade or rub, or any sweet glaze. Cook it in a way that don't add any fat. Grilling would be good.
It depends on how you like your meat. It also depends on how much the strip steak weighs and how thick it is. For example, a 2 inch boneless steak should be cooked a total of 18 minutes, 9 minutes each side over a hot grill.
690 calories. If you are unsure, I use the app My Fitness Pal. You can scan the barcode of your steak and the app will calculate the calories and all the nutritional content for you. Hope this helped :)
you do not wanna cook steak because you would have to cook a lot
Don't see why not. Word of warning though - cooking anything straight from frozen gives worse results than if you defrost it then cook it. Especially noticeable with fresh meat.
Theoretically, it can be done. But I strongly suggest that you don't, as it will not be a good steak at all. Realistically you need to allow the steak to thaw out and get up to room temperature before you cook it. This applies to all types of cooking, such as grilled, fried etc.
5 minutes in the microwave
The main ingredients in making pepper steak are steak, oil or butter, onion, celery, tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar, bay leaves, green bell pepper, cornstarch, soy sauce. Although ingredients in recipes vary, these will make you a basic tasty pepper steak.
If the steaks have been wrapped tightly and there is no freezer burn, they should be safe to eat. Frozen food will essentially be safe indefinitely, however it will lose quality the longer it is frozen.
