Answer - Well, that depends. Who are you praying to? What are you doing in a Mosgue? If you are praying to GOD (Jesus Christ you know) than that's fine. The second question I just wanted to know. Answer - no it is still considered a house of GOD
No, Prayer can be done anywhere anytime. It is never a sin to pray to God.
As a Roman Catholic who worked in Somalia, I prayed inside a tiny mosque as a Christian. The imam at the local mosque knew who I was and welcomed me. I went inside only when it was empty and prayed in silence. I, of course adhered to rules when entering a mosque. I covered my hair and took off my shoes. There are situations where people have to pray in other places of worship. There was no Catholic Church in the area I worked in and the one in Mogadiscio was demolished during the conflict. Even though G-d is everywhere and we can worship Him where we need to I do not see a problem of having to do so in a mosque. A synagogue may be a different issue altogether because Jews do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah. But in Islam, Jesus is an important prophet. Also being in a country that was in complete chaos, the mosque was the only place that was peaceful and I was able to pray in silence and connect with G-d. In fact, Muslims, Jews and Christians pray to the same G-d all we have to do is be respectful to each others customs and rules when entering their place of worship. I certainly would not be offended if a Muslim walked inside my church and prayed. In fact, one of my closest Muslim friends wanted to attend Sunday mass, she did not participate in the prayers but she remained seated and was respectful. If more people do this than there would be more understanding and respect to one anothers religions rather than ignorance and hatred.
