cookie cutter shark fact filelooks: they are really small [only about 50 cm/20 inches] and are shaped like a cigar. They have a green glowing patch on their stomach.[ this attracts prey in its dark climate] It is brown with green pupils. its teeth are the coolest thing about them because they cut things like a cookie cutter and are shaped very cool.

habitat: they live 3500 miles under the sea. [ more info to come on their habitat]

diet/ feeding habits: the cookie cutter has a very unique way of feeding. the glowing green patch makes its prey think that the cookie cutter shark is smaller than it is so it goes to kill the shark but the sharks teeth sink into their flesh. the cookie cutter shark is one of few animals that can kill prey bigger than itself. it can do this with their powerful jaws and teeth that are large, sharp and vacumm like.

fun fact: this small beast took a bite out of a U.S. submarine and the housing was disabled and the sub was put out of service until further repairs

fun fact: these monsterous sharks are actually harmless to human

actually they take scoop like bites out of whales and the sharks are less than two feet long so they are not harmless to humans.

Cookie Cutter Sharks eat whales. They first find a whale, then, they take a bite towards it's abdomen and starts to eat the whale while the whale doesn't even know that one of the most smallest sharks in the world is eating it! They got it's because 100-90 years ago, a Sumerian was in the water, and a cookie cutter shark thought that the Sumerian was a whale, so it took a bite and then realized that it wasn't a whale, so it left. And when the people found the bite mark, they said that it looked like a baker came straight form the bakery and took a cookie cutter and put it there! And that's how it got it's name.
