Yes, but it's not that great, it's equivalent to a 1.7 GPA and in the US and Canada, you need to get at least a GPA of 2.0 which is equivalent to C. A C- can create problems for the student in time for graduation.
A C is "average." They're not terrible in high school in the US, because most people go to high school in the US and it turns out that average people are mostly average.
People in college or university aren't supposed to be average, they're supposed to be above average. So being "average" means you're actually below average for the group of people who go on to post-secondary school. A C in college is more like a D (or at best a C--) in high school.
By the time you get into grad school, a C is essentially considered a failing grade.
Yes. Most US universities prefer not to fail students (F) because it looks bad for their statistics. As a result, any grade in the C-range is given as an equivalent for failure without explicitly failing the student. It also allows the student to get credit for the course, which failure does not allow for.
C is a bad grade for anything in school! gotta work harder
The grade C is not bad . In fact C's just even out B's A's D's and F's. There are 5 letter grades. F D C B A. and in the middle is C. IT just nothing, so its not bad. A C is passing in schools just not in a B's and A's grade level. so C's are nothing, but passing.
a C+
No, but C is.
no, if you get a bad grade at least once a week (besides Midterms and Finals) then yes you have a bad IQ. A bad grade in my eyes is a C or lower.
Generally a passing grade (not all universities may abide) which is a C+ or greater.
Your grade will be a 75 or a "C" ,"C" is lower than a 70 so that means it will prabaly be a bad grade
No. C is supposed to be average C is bad, u don't go to college w/ average C, just saying
Well its not that bad but you have to try harder to get a b a b is soo much better c not that bad addenum: Well, it all depends. In most Universities Cs are considered the minimum required for graduation. Also it depends on the major requirements. Some might not accept a C grade wheres other mights. also if a C grade affects your GPA than it might not be good. So it just depends on the situations.
It will likely be harder for you to get a well paying job in your field than it will be for students getting an A or a B grade in their major in university.
Half Good/Half Bad. Ok. Not great. Grade C is equivalent to the average grade in the countryThe top grade is A*then B,C,D,E ... until U which is a failhowever anything above a F is a pass which is acceptable
A 75 on the percentage scale is considered a C grade. This grade is neither good nor bad, it's average. On the GPA scale it is a 2.0.
