If it is anything like most standard printer of todays time and place they are now bi-direction so they are input-out-put as they take and give you only out-put in you hand as hard-copy information... basiucally printed paper with images, ectra.... but if it multi-fuction laser printer of today it can also give input to the computer via it's buitl; in scanner unit and fax unti and or phone unti, and or camera usb port retrieval unit .. makin it the newert styled input-output device...
