who makes the tcl tv's
Not sure a out your model but try codes for RCA. I have a 24" TCL tv and the code that worked for Direct GV was 11447. Good Luck
you can get the diagram of tcl 2111 at omni logistcs corp.
In 2014, RCA TV is currently a licensed brand run by ON Corp who manufactures LED TV's in China. The actual manufacturing is performed by the TCL company in China.
I've read elsewhere that Logitech Harmony universal remotes will work using RCA codes, they suggested L32HD31 as your TV to get it to control the TCL tv and comcast. I have used 10047 and 11781 as the remote code for a TCL LCD TV on my Comcast digital adapter remote. They are each RCACodes, that work perfectly on TCL , as RCA is owned by TCL.
...got the same prob last week. the only answer to the prob is a remote control coming from the distributor... you can search the net for the distributor of the TCL TV you have. they will ask you for the tv model. any remote control won't do, it must be a TCL RC alone.
Its a decent Tv brand
It appears the TCL 55" uses RCA codes. Give RCA codes a try because they worked for me -- in my case, code 333 worked for my Avex R6 (URC-RC) Universal remote control. Maybe the other TCL TVs use the same RCA codes.
I just found a remote code for my TCL L40FHDM11 tv: 651. It works, but I still have to use the remote that came with the tv to turn it on & off and for volume.
As long as there is a separate recording device, such as a DVR hooked up to the TV, one can record programs when a TCL TV is in standby mode. This is not possible without a separate recording device, however.
