Mathoor in Shimoga district of Karnataka. The resident of Mathoor in Shimoga district of Karnatak speak Sanskrit at home. Most of the public notices are in Sanskrit and Kannada. As far as I know this is the only place in India where Sanskrit is spoken during daily activities.
