How do you power-slide in Mario Kart DS?

Simply hold down the R button.

You can get a small speed boost, or mini-turbo, by alternating left and right on the Control Pad and then releasing R. Hold R in a curve (Drift), then press << and >> fast

To get it, you must hold down R while going round a corner and alternating between the left and right arrows until you see orange sparks. When you do, let go of all buttons to receive a powerslide turbo boost!

when you get to a curve press and hold R then alternate left and right buttons on the control pad

you will first get smoke on your wheels then yellow sparks and at last blue sparks

when you get at this point stop holding R.

to do a power slide you have toi droft with the L button and what you do is turn the directing pad left and right until you send off yellow sparks then you let the L button go and you have done a bower slide
