I'm not really sure but I believe they are some type of mite. I have found them in my food storage container. I think the young mite is a whitish looking wiggly worm but I think they grow into a larger (rounder black) black looking bug. The white-ish looking pupae (the young mite - from my searches looks like a meal worm) by thickness is smaller than a grain of rice and the length is like two grains of rice stood end to end.
