How do you defuse a bomb in counter strike 1.6?

You just walk up to the bomb site, press and hold the "use" key, and pray that no one shoots you in the back while you're playing bomb technician. Easy peasy, right? If you have to ask you are probably not the right person to be defusing a bomb.

In reality, the whole "cut this wire, don't cut that wire" thing is pretty much the stuff of movies. Real Explosive Ordnance professionals either blow up the bomb in place or transport it to a safe location and blow it up there. This is done either by shooting it from a distance or using a small bomb of their own. Another method that has become popular in recent years is to smash or cut the bomb to pieces using a high pressure stream of water from a remote controlled water cannon.

In the old days a hole would be carefully drilled in the bomb and the explosive could then be melted with wet steam and drained away.

In the case of sea-mines the German WW1 type is reckoned to be the most dangerous owing to the method of firing it. Glass vials of acid are enclosed in the horns of the mine which are made of lead. If the horns are struck by an object the vial breaks and acid is released into a battery which fires the detonator. Unlike later mines the plungers cannot corrode and seize so the mine may still be in firing condition after many decades.

Note that not all bombs contain wires and batteries as chemical or mechanical fuses may be used instead.

Get right next to the bomb or on top of it, look at it with your crosshair. Press E and defusing bar will begin to fill. Keep holding E button until bomb has been defused. For quicker defuse buy a Defuse kit.

To defuse a bomb with or without a defusing kit you should kill the enemy who is guiding it. Then walk near the bomb then crouch. Press the E key on your keyboard and it will just show that you are defusing the bomb.

I would say that: To defuse the bomb you have to stand on it or you have to be near by then you have to hold (E) to defuse it. Defusing bomb without defusing kit is 3 times longer when normal.

To buy defuse kit you have to be in counter terrorist team, and in your spawn spot press B to open menu for guns and what ever then click 8 to open section were you can buy HE(granades) FB(flash bangs), defuse kit, night vision, arrmour, armour and helmet, then press 6.
