I don't know how old this post was- but I just got my foot tattoo yesterday and figured I would post something about it. Everyone has their own tolerance to pain- and mine is obviously extremely high because I almost didn't get my foot tattooed simply because of what everyone else was saying about it. Honestly- it was the least painful out of the 4 tattoos I have (shoulder, lower back, and ankle- now foot). So- if you want it, I recommend doing it: don't read up on it or listen to other people because it will just scare you...On a different note- I expected the worse so maybe that's why it wasn't so bad! Top yes, it can be painful. Depends on how much pain you can take. Bottom, not so much but requires lots of revisits if done there.
I just got mine on my foot about 4 days ago. It was painful, but I didn't cry. Obviously the pain is withstandable but it just doesn't feel so peachy. haha I tried to focus on other things while she was doing it, like watching her tv she had on I turned the volume down kinda low so I would have to focus on it to try to hear it, bringing my attention away from the pain on my foot. I also played a game on my phone to distract me. Lol Overall, it wasn't that bad and I'm very happy I got it done! Hopefully this helped! :)

Can sandpaper remove a tattoo?
Sandpaper will remove a temporary tattoo, however this will be extremely painful. Sandpaper will not remove a permanent tattoo. To remove a temporary tattoo, it is more effective (and less painful) to use Acetone or Nail-Polish remover.

I would have to say no that is not normal. I have a large tattoo of a gecko on my foot and the tattoo artist did not blow on my foot while I was getting it done. In fact a lot of tattoo artists won't tattoo feet at all because the ink doesn't hold up very well because of the thin skin on your foot and the constant agitation from shoes and socks.
