That is a highly debatable question. Jimi didn't become famous in the United States initially. While playing in a band in Harlem he was noticed by a British producer who convinced him to go to London. The problem Jimi was having at this time was that he was only a guitar player playing other people's songs and he was not allowed to express his own artistic talents.
In London he was able to cut albums, his first one being "Are You Experienced?" This album was a major success in Europe but not the United States. So to answer the question, "How old was Jimi Hendrix when he became famous?"
In Europe, probably twenty three. In the United States twenty-five after his performance at the Monterey Pop Festival in California. Sadly Jimi died two years later just when his success was reaching legendary proportions due to the number one album "Electric Ladyland" and his performance at Woodstock in 1969.
Jimi Hendrix
At least one is at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
Early on September 18, 1970, Jimi Hendrix died in London under circumstances which have never been fully explained.
All 3 are extremely famous in the world of rock n' roll, but Bob Dylan was the only one of them who had a long career; also, he sold more albums than Jimi Hendrix or Jim Morrison combined, so Dylan is generally the most famous of the three (competing with Hendrix).
honestly its all oppinion kids today won't like santanas music as its more contemporary (Weird to put in laymens) and slash is more rock and roll. Buckethead is another one to look at, listen to 5 or 6 of his songs before you make up your mind though.
Hendrix is a rock legend, but he did not invent rock. Chuck Berry probably invented rock and roll.
Jimi Hendrix
Between the two artists listed in the question, Jimi Hendrix was inducted first in 1992. Bob Marley was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame in 1994. Hope this helps!

nobody has been murdered BECAUSE of rock n' roll no1, but the industry killed Jimi Hendrix, but not the music itself.

Many magazines, websites and fellow musicians consider Jimi Hendrix to be the greatest guitar player of all time. He has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and has been inducted into both the United States Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the United Kingdom Music Hall of Fame.

Yes, Jim Marshall was a famous photographer. He was most famous for his photos of rock and roll stars, such as the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. He died in 2010 at age 74.
He did not have to bring good, wtf question is this? He ushered a new era or Rock N' Roll !!!!!!!!! Arguably the most talented guitar player in this planet's history, Hendrix still inspires and drops jaws to any musician or guitarist.
