The price of silver can vary from day to day. However, the average price in 2014 has typically been around $20 per ounce.

For daily figures you can check a site such as kitco.com, CNNMoney, etc. for the latest spot prices.

Precious-metals prices change every day so any answer posted here would be out of date almost immediately. While it's not normal WikiAnswers policy to say "use the internet", that's the best approach in this case.

Spot prices for silver ounces are posted daily on www.monex.com. Expect to pay at least $1.00 over spot.

The price changes every day. During 2008 silver has yo-yo'ed from $11 to $18 per ounce.

For a current price check the business section of your newspaper or type the words SPOT PRICE SILVER into any good search engine.
