My paper route pays me a flat $1,200 per month, that is 140 homes and approx 16 miles of route driving.. after I've set aside money to pay taxes (you will have to pay taxes as this is considered 'self-employment', I bring in about $250 per week... not enough to raise a family, but fine for a 22 year old living with roommates... sure beats working at Walmart. If you want to make some money, you could do odd jobs for neighbors, feed pets while people are gone, or sell jewelry and baked goods. If you're starting a paper-delivering company on your own, it's a lot more trouble than it's worth. Try getting a friend involved!

the guy above me is wrong I have 5 routes and I make 600 a week you need to find a good company for some reason the newspaper delivery business is somewhat of an underground one. Honestly its really frustrating at first but if you keep with it within a month its EASY money, wake up at 5 work till 10 or 11 4 days a week and have the rest of the day and your week off. Look into ACI or AJC I got my foot in the door b/c of my girlfreinds parents giving them to me.

It depends which area you work in and what you have to deliver that week,sometimes different items pay more. i just quit mine but earned at least $40 per week. I work with my mum and brother and the area I work is not so big so yea and we get like $60 - $100+ per week.
