The four crossings from New Jersey to New York State are the Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, George Washington Bridge, and Bayonne Bridge.
All of these crossings connect New Jersey to New York City: the first three connect New Jersey to Manhattan, and the Bayonne Bridge connects New Jersey to Staten Island. There are no crossings that connect New Jersey to points in New York State that are outside the New York City limits.
The toll for cars on all four of these crossings is the same:
During peak hours (weekdays 6 to 9 AM and 4 to 7 PM, and weekends noon to 8 PM) the toll is $8 with E-ZPass.

Also note that these tolls apply only to vehicles heading from New Jersey to New York. There is NO toll for vehicles heading from New York to New Jersey.
Having just gone to NYC from the northern VA area on July 4 weekend... I swear, just on the NJ Turnpike/I-95, I paid over $30.00, THEN once in NYC I had to enter the Lincoln Tunnel and that was exactly $8.20!! The tolls, beginning just when you pass the Baltimore skyline/downtown, begin at around $2.00 and keep increasing the closer you get to NY. One toll alone (returning to VA) was $9.05! The toll operator asked if I had something showing where I had come from (HUH?), like a ticket of some sort and of course I didn't so she charged me $9.05. I was livid. Also beware of the EZ PASS lanes because once you accidentally pull into one of them and are without an EZ PASS you're stuck. (And I've heard you get a nice little "gift" via mail after they read your tag as not having paid the toll.) In other words, have your cash ready; you'll be paying out the ying-yang for the tolls.
