Your car may be low on Brake fluid. Pop the hood and check the brake fluid reservoir. There is usually a line that shows how much fluid should be in the reservoir. It should be pretty full, so add fluid if needed. Perhaps you have some sort of brake fluid leak?
Mine simply needed brake fluid to fill it to the line indicated on the brake fliud container.
It is probably too late at this point, but it may just have been low on transmission fluid. The burned rubber smell is the bands in the transmission slipping because they are either worn out or very low on fluid. Check the fluid level and add if needed. It may not help, but you will only waste $10 adding fluid.
that may be a hard question because of after market oil coolers I would piur it in till its full
there are eight(8) ounces in a cup
There may be several reasons for fluid leakage. You may have a bad seal in the transmission, the fluid level may be overfull, gaskets that keep a seal may be worn.
I have never heard of this "fluid" before, but a fluid you may extract when nervous can be sweat.
That is a symptom of a transmission that has overheated. There may or may not be damage. I would advise you to have the fluid/filter changed immediately as the fluid is not contaminated.
It may be that the fluid is frozen, or it may be that the line carrying the fluid is clogged with debris or ice from rain or condensation.
