It is partially set on the ship 'The Dawn Treader', but most of the events take place on the many islands visited by the passengers of the Dawn Treader as Prince Caspian searches for the seven missing Lords. The sea-faring part of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader is being filmed in Queensland, Australia in Moreton Bay, which is the bay upon which the city of Brisbane is located. The Dawn Treader itself is, in August 2009, being constructed at Cleveland Point. The local newspaper for the area reported that this location was chosen because of the perfect, unbroken views of the Moreton Bay islands, which number in their hundreds.
As of now, there will be 3, but depending on the success of The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader, Fox and Walden hope to continue with the series
Seven Books: "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" "Prince Caspian" "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" "The Silver Chair" "The Horse and His Boy" "The Magician's Nephew" "The Last Battle" Two Completed Films: "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" "Prince Caspian" And One film in production: "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"
I think The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the first one when all the Pevensies (Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie) come out, and also, at the next movie, Prince Caspian, all the Pevensies also come out. But at the Voyage of the Dawn Treader (The next movie) only Edmund and Lucy comes out...including Eustace, the Pevensie's cousin. That's all I know...But there might be The Last Battle
"The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe", "Prince Caspian" and "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" have been made into movies. It has been confirmed that "The Magician's Nephew" will be the next book to be made into a movie but beyond that the future is uncertain for the other volumes in the series.
