Superman has many nicknames. In fact, Superman is a nickname.

His birth name is Kal-El, being a member of The House Of El.

His adoptive name, given to him by John and Martha Kent, is Clark.

The 'S' on his suit does not stand for Superman, but is a Kryptonian symbol representing his lineage. However, the people of Earth take this symbol and start calling him Superman.

Along with Superman, the public also calls him The Man Of Steel, The Man Of Tomorrow and The Metropolis Marvel.

Fellow heroes in The Justice League call him Big Blue because of his blue suit, and Boy Scout because of his American values. Some villains might also use these, but they use them more as insults and mockeries of their silly titles.

Sometimes fans will combine these two names, calling him The Big Blue Boy Scout, but he is almost never called that in the comics and movies.

He might be called Supes on occasion, but The Joker is notable for almost always calling him that.

Along with the escape pod he was sent to Earth inside of, his biological father left him lessons on the history of Krypton, which he uses to learn about his own origin. In these lessons, a holographic version of his father calls him The Last Son Of Krypton, which refers both to the fact that his home world is gone, and to the fact that he was the first natural birth in thousands of years.

Lois Lane, and others from the big city Metropolis call him Smallville, being the town he was raised in.

Lex Luthor is notable for sticking to calling him Superman almost always.

Before the writers scratched this part of his origin, when he was younger he was called Superboy, and The Metropolis Kid.

Rather than Superboy, in the television show Smallville, the newspapers call him The Blur.

These are the most common nicknames, but there are probably nicknames used only once as well.
