Sir Edmund Hillary climbed Mt. Everest in 1953,with Tenzing Norgay.

With the essentials such as oxygen ,climbing equipment,food,ropes strong climbing boots, thick insulated heavy duty clothing,protective eyewear,camping equipment and hard work he reached the summit.
