iPod touch on Full Charge:Sadly the battery life on the iPod touch is extremely LOW

TO INCREASE BATTERY USAGE:

Apple suggested to extended batter duration during usage is to turn off auto brightness, set the brightness to lowest, turn off WiFi under settings when not using it, turn off location services under settings, turn off blue tooth, do not use any volume EQs if you want to, set it on flat to make sure less battery usage is saved, turn off lock sounds, turn off keyboard click, for 3G set volume level on the ipod touch to very minimal. Make sure to keep the battery u fat somewhat charged do not let the battery fully die.

Charge time to fully charge battery is 3-4 hours according to apple support as well.

• I was wondering the same issue, I had called apple support thinking my ipod touch battery was bad, it was brand new and only lasted a few hours on usage with full charge, i was concerned since my ipod video classic lasted days without being recharged, the average battery life of a fully charged battery on any ipod touch memory size is 6 hours of video play back, 3 hours of Video Games, less if its 3D games, and about 10 hours for music. and about 7 hours of wifi, NOT TOTAL, do not think that all these hours is the total amount all together of battery life your ipod touch has on a full charge, For example, if you only use music no video or internet or games, fully charged your ipod touch will last about 10 hours,

• On sleep mode (ipod is on but not being used, black screen) battery will last for 22 hours.

USING:

- Music only - 10 hours on AVG

- Video (play back) only - 6 hours

- Games only (not 3D) - 3 hours on AVG

- 3D Games - 2 hours on AVG

- Combination of all - 3 to 5 hours

• well i would let it drain out of battery because it should already be charged! and i would also charge it at daytime. when ure at home and were u can keep an eye on it.
