King cobras do not spit venom (lucky for us) but the spitting cobra species can spray their venom to a distance of 2 meters (over 6 and a half feet) as well as deliver it through a bite. So...if you see one of these guys, run the hell away.
The spitting cobra can accurately hit a target over 10 feet (3 metres) away ! They only spit venom as a defence - normally they bite their prey.
Not as venomous as the taipan, tiger snake, black mamba or the fierce snake. But still it is among the top 10 most deadliest snakes in the world.
