In the case with dogs, most of them don't kill their preys as their wild wolf cousins do because of their domestic history (raised by humans who feed them) UNLESS they are either feral dogs or dogs who were trained for hunting purpose. So how these dogs who do kill preys killl them is also different from the way the wolves do it. Sometimes it depends on how one was raised and its personality. If the owner suppressed it's hunting drive as a pup then it won't likely see any live animals as prey and thus will not do harm to them (unless it runs feral).

Like all large breeds, Siberian huskies (the ones with a hunting drive kept intact) generally pick on small non-canid animals like groundhogs, wild rabbits, and mice. And due in part to the husky's hunting dog ancestry, this breed is an expert at catching and KILLING smaller animals with little training required (although you'll need to keep that dog away from domestic rodents).

So to answer your question:

How they kill their preys vary depending on their respective environment and sometimes how their human hunting companions trained to to kill.

Example #1: Feral Huskie's Hunting Tactic

A feral husky (and there's a lot of those in Canada due to bad owners who abandon them) usually scavenges on dead animals but will simply chase down a live groundhog if one is available. The husky allows the groundhog to escape into its den but does not leave the sit, simply using its nose to track down exver alternate exits the groundhog may use. Once the groundhog emerages from hiding, the dog will leap at it and deliver a fatal blow to the stomach and then its dinner time. Feral huskies also eat squirrels, ducklings, goslings, and feral cats. Killing them the same way they would do on a groundhog. In the case with waterfowls, they'd chase off the parents and then grab the weakest of the offspring. They don't go after large hoofed animals though due to the lack of strengths (afterall, huskie's are not wolves).

Example #2: As a Hunting Dog

A hunting dog cannot kill a large animal like a deer or moose without the help of their human companions. The Chukchi people who bred the early Siberian Huskies did most of the hunting but occasionally allowed their dogs to do the killings for them. In this case, one hunter would fire a projectile at a medium sized hoofed animal, taking it down and then the huskies would run ahead and bite the prey in multiple spots until it's dead. This method lasted for thousands of years prior to the improvements of hunting rifles. Huskies usually aim for the neck to suffocate which give the hunters enough time to finish the animal if necessary.

Siberian Huskies actually have claws and sharp teeth to kill it's prey. And Strong Jaws! Siberian Huskies are natural hunters - they run like the wind and they simply cannot resist the Chase! They are also very agile and can jump and Dodge out of the way of danger. They easily 'run' down smaller prey and depending on what it is, they will go for the throat and /or shake it to break it's neck with their strong jaws. Like the Wolf, they can and will cooperate with other 'pack member' to achieve their goal. They will also follow the sound of an animal in a burrow or under the earth and Dig it up.

The domesticated Siberian Husky will more enjoy the chase than want to actually hurt or kill. Once caught, if the animal lies down and is still, my Husky will not harm it! If however it is a bird and it flaps and panics - she will shake it and break its neck.

Siberian husky predators?

The Husky breed is a domesticated animal. They were and are still bred as work animals so they do not per say have "predators". They are derived from the wolf family of canines so it is safe to say that the predators of wolves are the same to any canine. Wolves are at the higher end of there ecosystem, meaning they do not have many natural enemies. The only real threat to their kind is humans. Huskies, on the other hand, may have many other types of predators, but again, they are domesticated and are not generally found in the wild roaming about.

Can you find a husky in the wild?

Kinda-sorta. The Siberian Husky is a domestic dog = kept my humans, so you're unlikely to fin any important number of them living wild. But there's always a possibility that an occasional animal has strayed and gone feral.
