In all the many different Native American Languages there is no word to say "bye" there are words for "at a later time". Things like that. But to say bye it means that you will never see that person again, and that is not true. When one passes and goes to the Happy hunting grounds, we will all meet again.

But in the Lakota Language toksa ake means "later"
