I believe it's "Nete iku kudasai".

Nete - Verb, to sleep.

Iku - Verb, to go

Kudasai - Please

____

'iku' literally means 'to go' as in to go somewhere, and can't be used in this way.

You should simply say 寝てください (nete kudasai).

"Are you asleep?" would be 'nete imasu ka,' while "were you asleep?" (as in, if you were to call someone and you think you might have woken them) is 'nete imashita ka.' Written in that order, they are: 寝ていますか 寝ていましたか
