93 Lexus LS400
In the gas. Take out your back seat and there it is
if you remove the passenger glove box then you will find it hiding away in there.
It is about .5 hour.
it is inside your distributor.I have 1994 mx3 an my igniter quit, and i had to replace the whole distributor. not cheap.
You take it to a mechanic. If your asking, you shouldnt be attempting it.
Answer is No, I just tried having a 92 and 93 ls 400. Plugs are different and dash config is different.
The fuel filter is located under the vehicle in front of the drivers side tire under an aluminum sheild www.lextechautomotivellc.com
after finding out which of the four hoses is leaking, you buy a new one and replace it.
The starter is located directly in between the valley of the 2 heads. I have just replaced this part myself and fond that as it is a long process, it is VERY easy to do it yourself. But don't be cheap buy a Lexus genuine part. You will thank me later!
93 LS400 takes either NGK BKR6EP11, or Denso PK20R11 spark plugs with .043 gap.
The starter can be bought for around $140. It should take no more than 1 hour to replace it. I would expect to pay no more than $225 for this repair. Of course what you pay depends on where you take it for the repair. A Lexus dealer will charge you way more than an independent shop. This is a very easy repair that any decent mechanic can perform. Seek out a reliable independent shop.
