If it is a "pull-out" type switch in the dash There is a little silver button on the rear of the switch (you'll have to feel around for it) Depress this button and the knob will pull all the way out allowing you to unscrew the bezel and remove switch from the rear. Ford recommends replacing the connector at the same time

after electrcally disconnecting the switch there should be a small button on the bottom of the switch body that will release the switch shaft. then just pull it out and do the inverse to put the new one in.
The headlight adjustment for the 1989 F150 2WD is below the actual headlight. You will need to pull the tab at the top of the headlight up to release the headlight and then you can adjust the angle of the light with the long bolt below the housing.
