How do you replace a front indicator bulb in a Saab 93
2007 Saab 9-3 tail light bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. Then consult your owner's manual for the replacement procedure. As simple as it sounds, the owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement instructions and illustrations. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).
the position light bulb is located towards the inside of the headlamp. Its the small "peanut" type bulb. You can access it by removing the high beam bulb and some needle nose plyiers should do the trick.
For the drivers side: lift up the battery cover. Gently pull on the windshield washer fluid reservoir, it will pull out making the light bulb cover accessible. Remove the rubber cover to the bulb you would like to replace. The bulb is now accessible, twist the bulb gently and pull it out. The bulb simply plugs into the electrical socket, so all you need to do is pull it out once you've removed it from the headlight. Reverse the steps to replace the bulb in to the headlight. Use caution not to touch the bulb with your bare hands as the oils from your skin will effect the life of the bulb, I recommend wearing latex gloves. For the passenger side remove the rubber cover to the bulb the follow the steps listed above.
Open the hood, remove the rubber cover for the high beam bulb (inboard bulb, closer to the radiator), remove high beam bulb and next to it inside the light assembly is the position light bulb. Using a pair of long and 45degree needle nose pliers gently grab the position light bulb socket and pull it straight out! Do not pull on wires and I had to remove my air filter box cover to get my big hands behind the light assembly! Bulb is a W5W, buy it before starting this job!

The first step is to take out the headlight for easier access. Then you have to take off the very bottom most plastic under bumpuer peice. From their you take out the two bolts located on the top of the light and then there is one under the light. Then you take the screw out of the round peice on the light where you will find the light bulp that just snaps in and out.
