Ok, I had the same problem- a nice black blazer, probably polyester-based, but nice-- rarely wrinkled, hung nice. Well, I stupidly ironed it, and the lapels got shiny. I tried the vinegar solution that I found all over the internet- it didn't work. I think with any polyester-based fabric, any high heat will just melt the fibers beyond repair. I am bummed, because it had a very cool curved lapel line, not angular, and I haven't found another one like it. Was perfect for cowl-type necline dressy tanks underneath. Should've dry cleaned it. Darn. Good luck.
I heard that you should dab a little vinegar on all of the the shiny area before you wash it and a little more before you iron it (iron it on the wrong side, inside out) if it still is shiny.
Shiny black
Shiny charizard is black with shiny skin.
SHINY
It's a big black shiny car!
A shiny hippowdon. [EDIT] Turns out it's not shiny. The female Hippowdons are black, while the males are tan. Shiny ones have a greenish tint.

The shiny Charamander will be a black color.
the black rayquaza is basically the shiny version of Rayquaza which is usually what you'll get. But if you get a shiny Ryquaza (black) that's pretty lucky.
Sequins are those really shiny discs that are usually on clothing
a black rayquaza means that it is shiny. it is very rare but if you're lucky when you challange rayquaza, it will be shiny
A black Rayquaza is a shiny so you'll have to be very lucky for the Rayquaza you find to be shiny.
