drain coolant then remove thermostat housing remove thermostat replace with new one spring to block
Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the radiator. Allow the coolant to completely drained out. Replace the drain plug to its original position. Fill the radiator with new coolant.
generally the thermostat is located in the housing where the top radiator hose connects to engine.to change thermostat, you dump coolant, remove radiator hose from this housing.then remove housing, remove thermostat, install new one(making sure it is facing right way up).then replace housing, replace hose.fill with coolant
Anyway, it is located in the lowerr radiator house, at the engine, when the engine is cold drain the coolant, remove the lower hose, pop out the thermostat, remove gasket, clean surface and replace. Fill with coolant, let it get warm, then add more coolant when the new thermotat opens up.
The coolant level sensor is located in the coolant reservoir tank. It should just screw or press in. Unplug it, remove it and put a new one in.
Remove the drain plug from the bottom of your 2002 Chevy Camaro radiator. Allow the coolant to drain out into a container. When all the coolant is drained out replace the drain plug to its original position. Fill the radiator with new coolant.

Drain the radiator and dispose of the coolant as its toxic to animals. Remove the top radiator hose, and water inlet. Remove the thermostat from under the inlet and replace it. Reinstall the inlet and top hose then fill the system with new coolant.
Remove brace to better access the coolant area. Unplug and remove the battery. Remove the electrical connector from the sensor. Have container beneath vehicle to catch any coolant. Remove the wire, or wires, that are holding the senor in place. Add antifreeze to the O rings and push the new sensor into place. Replace the battery and brace cover.
Drain coolant, disconnect the battery. Disconnect the coolant line, replace the thermostat with a new one. Do not forget to replace the gasket too. Reconnect the line. Refill coolant, connect the battery.

Remove the negative battery cable, remove rad filler cap and find the lower rad hose. Get a container as when you remove the hose from the engine side, you will lose 3-4 litres of coolant. You may want to remove the air intake box that runs on top of the rad (2 10mm bolts) first. Once hose is off the thermostat is behind the cover the hose was connected to..remove the 2 12mm bolts and replace unit with a new seal. Reverse process, add new coolant and follow procedures to ensure no air lock in coolant system occurs.
