You will need a floor jack unless the tank is already empty. You need to disconnect the filler hose and three nuts (15mm I think) and the tank will come down. only let it drop far enough to get your hand on the top of the tank so you can disconnect the fuel lines and electric to the fuel pump. It's not at all complicated but it is pretty easy to break the fuel pump connections so be careful. A small mirror is helpful to see the pump connections on top of the tank.
