You have to remove the center of the axle plate and the axle to remove the brake hub.
remove s.w.cover ,remove bolt,use s. w.remover
the right side axle has 3 screws in it you have to get under car to see them remove those 3 screws after you remove everything else then you have to take something to separate it from the mounting housing.
The front axle itself does not need to be removed.
You could try having someone apply the brake.
I'd need to know if you had a solid front axle or a double wishbone independent front suspension in order to answer this.
It's a dump truck with four axles--the steer axle in front and three axles in back. One of them moves up and down via a control in the cab, so the tires aren't on the road if the truck's not loaded. A tri-axle dump truck carries more weight than a one-axle or two-axle truck.
There's no such thing as a one axle truck. There has to be a minimum of two axles. "Single axle" if a term referring to a truck with only a single drive axle, and doesn't count the steer axle. Same with "tandem axle", "tri axle", "quad axle", and "quint axle".
Yes you can remove it and still drive the truck......
remove the steering knuckle, put it in a vise and if there are no snap rings inside the axle opening, get a big hammer and go at it.
chain the axle to a tree and just drive away. It's gone man.
up my butt. It's the evap sensor and it is located at the back axle near the fuel tank.
