Just replaced mine in January.
I have fold down seats so I crawed in that way. Removed the trunk lid cover w/ a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the thin arm on the hatch release... that will open the trunk.
There is a plastic push arm that broke on mine... I took off three bolts, determined that I could not repair it... I found a factory bracket and push arm (new) on-line for about 30 dollars. Bolt it in, plug in the actuator, put the interior lid cover back on and your wife does the naughty dance for ya because you the man!
VW dealer wanted $300+ and no naughty dance!

It will hold 4 quarts.
Same thing happened on my 2000 Jetta. I took the cover off the inside of the trunk lid and found that the plastic peg that the solenoid hits had broken off. I am now searching for the part to see how hard it is to replace. I have a feeling I will have to buy the whole mechanism.
Under the passengerside back seat cushion.
i dont now
I am an owner of a 2000 Jetta and I've wondered the same thing...as far as I can tell by the owner's manual the Jetta does not use "power steering" fluid it uses "hydraulic" fluid (Pentosin CHF 11S Synthetic to be exact). I've also just found more about it at: http://www.germanautoparts.com/Volkswagen/Jetta/Steering Hope that helps!
The hazzard light switch in the middle of the dash includes the flasher.
No, none of those will fit without extensive fabrication.
