You probably don't. Most software designed for 98 will still work with XP; the reverse is not true.
Windows Inc work with actual Windows, not software.
You can't do this, software written for windows will not work on a Mac unless you load a windows emulator on the Mac first and even then it may not work well. For software to work on the two architectures, you need to compile it for them and only the vendors can do this.
Windows games are so called because they require the Windows operating system to work. Snow Leopard is the latest version of Apple's Macintosh operating system known as Mac OS X. It is not Windows and so Windows software, games or otherwise, will not work with it. A Mac with an Intel processor can have the Windows operating system installed on it and can then run Windows software. Alternatively software such as Wine or Crossover (See links below) provide an environment where Windows software can be used without having Windows installed but this can be rather hit and miss and will not work with all Windows software.
Most new games will be functional on Windows 7. Consult the software documentation for OS specifications. If it doesn't work right away, you can probably download a driver to make it work.
In general, yes; most software that runs under windows 7 will run under windows 8.
An extremely large range of hardware and software will work with Windows Vista. It would be impossible to list here all of them.
i have a CD with software for digital maps made for windows 98 is there any way i can play it with vista
Most Apple software is designed to work on their Mac OS X operating system and will not work on a computer running the Windows operating system. Apple does make some of their software available for Windows such as iTunes and their Safari browser.
You can download hypercam for your PC at www.surface64.com/hypercam. This software will work with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. This software is 100% free.
Yes. Adobe makes software to read PDF files in windows environment.
Yes, you can. But sadly a lot of software designed for older windows versions will not work under windows 7. You can use Virtual PC if you want run something working under XP but on windows 7 computer.
Software is written to work with a particular operating system. Windows software requires the Windows operating system and Mac software requires Apple's Mac OS X. The two are not interchangeable. A Mac can run the Windows operating system and thus Windows software but Mac OS X can only be used on Apple's own computers.
