get the offending marker and a cloth ,put the cloth immediately after the point of the pen and draw on the originally marks wiping at the same time as you are marking.

the idea is , the chemical that keeps the ink wet in the marker works on the marks on the skin or furniture or whatever, BUT, it has to be wiped at exactly the same time AS YOU ARE MARKING IT ,so you are marking and wiping at the same time.

Will permanent marker stain on SKIN if you keep drawing on the same spot?

Hey Thanks for the question ... My answer is Yes, probably. The skin is delicate and dont try and stain it too much, or you could damage it, especially with lots of ink. Try and avoid permanent marker on skin!! --- P.S. If you DO get a permanent marker stain on your skin, you can get it off with a product called Amodex Ink and Stain Remover. Its best use is for stains on clothing (because those stains are much tougher), but it easily takes marker or other stains off skin. It's also non-toxic.

Can someone who had a splenectomy get a tattoo?

I would assume so as the ink simply goes into the first permanent layer of skin. You may want to ask a couple shops though.

What ink can you use on practice tattoo skin inplace of tattoo ink dont want to wast the real ink of fake skin?

Usually I would be recommending people NOT to use India Ink, but if it is just for practice on fake skin, the India Ink will be more than satisfactory. Since what you are tattooing is more akin to plastic than skin, it won't bleed like it would in the skin, and will allow you to hone your lining skills.

What is a tattoo?

A tattoo is a permanent image on someone's skin. This is done by injecting ink under the skin with a sterilized needle. It can be removed but not very well, there will almost always be remnants of the ink. Tattoos can also be in 'sleeves,' this means that there is a continuous tattoo across one or both arms. While tattoos have been around for thousands of years, they have become increasingly popular in the United States since the mid 80's.

Approximately how many years will permanent tattoo ink stay in the dermis layer of your skin?

Permanent tattoo ink can stay in the dermis layer of your skin for a lifetime. Over time, the pigments may fade or spread slightly, but a significant portion of the ink will remain in the skin permanently.

Why do tattoos stay in skin if skin cells are replenished regularly?

Tattoos stay in the skin because the ink is deposited into the dermis layer, which is more stable and permanent than the outermost layer of skin. Even though skin cells are constantly being replaced, the ink particles are large enough to be retained in the dermis.

Can writing on your skin with a permanent marker cause ink poisoning?

Yes! It is generally unsafe for ANYONE to put permanant marker on their skin! Especially permanant, because it can not be washed off, your skin (like a sponge) absolves the ink and it goes into your bloodstream causing potential ink poisoning.
