You don't really. You can try it though. Almost always when you put a female and male in one tank, they spend the first ten minutes fighting and then in a few hours they will. watch them, once you are sure she is done, take the parents out into separate tanks. If you don't remove them, they will eat the eggs. In about a week, they will hatch. If you want more, the soonest they can again would be in a month or until the last are full grown.
