You place the Game Shark in the console first, than place the desired game into the top of the Game Shark. After this you turn on the system. If you have a newer version of a Game Shark than you should see a blue title screen saying Game Shark with the logo.
If you don't see this, than chances are you have an older version Game Shark and it won't for every game, but it will still work for a majority of them.
The quickest way is try placing it in the system, turning on the system. Once on, hold the little black button on the Game Shark for about 30 seconds or so. If this doesn't work, try using a sport game and plugging it back into your N64. Sport games are usually always compatible with Game Sharks of any version, so your best shot is with one of these.

The best way to hack with the GameShark is to find an existing code for the game you have at a site like ign.com or neoseeker.com and then modify this code by making gradual changes until you find a code that works. Some codes might have a bad effect on your game so you may not want to save while you have a code active. Good luck.

Titties!
Mad Catz made the Gameshark.
No.
As long as you have the proper codes for your version of the software you shouldn't have any problems getting it to work.
Nintendo i guess
Ebay, Craigslist, used game stores.
Project 64
put your game in the gameshark, then your gameshark in your SP, then turn your gameshark on. then turn your gameboy on.
No where, believe me I've tried to find one myself and there was none except for a N64 gameshark I saw and that was it. Try calling MadCatz for a special order because they still sell gamesharks.
You can turn it on and the red (on) button shows but nothing is shown on the screen.
well alls you gotta do is put the gameshark in and then the gamein the back ,turn the gameshark on then the game then WA la
You only have two options Gameshark or Action Replay. I think I would go with the Action Replay because codes are easier to find.
