How do you get over your ex and move on?

Well my dad said to always be busy doing something. Like for some reason, washing my car, lol. And almost never be alone either. It'll make you want to think of them, play songs to think of them. Just try to get them off your mind. Usually youll probaly not Want to, But if you want to move on you've got too. And sooner or later you might as well go on a date, and see how many great guys out there are willing to take you out and be really nice. Honestly im in this situation kinda, but i don't necc. want to move on, Even though the guy doesnt want me(we were never, 'in a relationship') i have a feeling he'll realize what he could have. I am trying to win him back Right now. the problem is is that he lives in fayetetville and i live in little rock, ar. it sucks. we're 2 hours and 20 min away. i honestly told him how i feel, almost everything, i didnt tell him i woudl move up there this summer to see if it worked, cuz i think that would be Too much. its actually great getting this stuff off my chest. Honestly my heart tells me ill see him again, even if he doesnt necc. care to see me again.
