How do you get a mod for minecraft?

Use Yahoo/Google to search for "minecraft Mods" and pick the one you want. They are compatible on both Macs and Windows games. Just follow the directions. You will find alot of mods and information at the official Minecraftforums site and at the MinecraftWiki.

instead of the %appdata% for windows, use this:

1)go to system

2)open library

3)open application support

4)open minecraft

then follow the mod instructions! :)

but of course, you need to download the mod first, just search the web, see if any take your liking, i recommend going on YouTube and typing in yogscast and going on the bluexephos or whatever he's called XD lol

If you do a Yahoo/Google search form minecraft mods you will find hundreds of sites.

The minecraftforum.net site is linked from the main page of Minecraft and just go to Mapping and Modding area and select Minecraft Mods and there are hundreds of different ones avialable.

Read the instructions on each mod to find out what it needs to be installed. Some require other mods in order to work.
