How do you eat in Minecraft Xbox 360 edition?

You can eat Porkchop, Cooked Porkchop, Apple, Golden Apple, Bread, Cake, Mushroom Soup, Fish, and Cooked Fish. To eat the food, select it on the quick-bar and right click.
To eat in mine craft you have to be holding the food. (for example melon) After you have it in your hand right click and hold. Don't forget you can only eat on survival mode and you can only eat when your hunger meter is NOT full

Put the food item on your quickbar and make sure you are holding it. Hold the right mouse button to eat the food (make sure the cursor is not over a workbench, gate, etc, or you'll just use that instead).
