how do you change a brake light bulb from a citroen c4 tail light unit. thanks
what is the flashing 300 number mean on the citreon berlingo van
To change a Citroen Berlingo bulb, disconnect the bulb from the wiring plug, and then remove the bulb holder from the headlamp light unit. While changing the bulb, make sure to squeeze the legs of the spring clip on the bulb holder together to ease its release. Afterwards, replace it with the new Citroen Berlingo bulb, and secure it with the spring clips without touching the glass. Lastly, put the bulb holder back into the light unit, and connect the wiring plug back into the bulb. After changing the bulb, always check to see if it s working.
everything appears okay - what could be the cause and how do i fix
undo the 2 plastic screws at the back of the light the whole light unit comes off then.
Open the boot, inside the boot lift the insulation at the back of the lens. Insert screwdriver and press clips out,one at the top, another at the bottom. Unclip the cluster of bulbs, press top clip with bottom at the same time. Pull out lens from outside.
The brake light : ampule P21/5W (brake and night light). Remove the dressing defers of the boot by removing the pawns, pull out the optic block according to 2 marks then the ampule!
that's easy, it's the indicator. if you look carefully there is is another one on the left hand side.
what do you have to do to change the center brake light
WHICH brake light?
Behind glove box accessed via passenger footwell.
There is a switch behind the brake pedal. Fairly easy to replace, or a 10 minute job at a garage.
