You can change the skin. Japan's, on your Oldsmobile automobile, by propping the door up, so it cannot fall. Pound the inch pins out with a chisel and hammer.

The old door hinge pins have to be cut out with a torch on a 1989 F-150. Then, new hinge pins can be welded into place. This part might be available at an automotive salvage yard for a fraction of the cost of new hinges.

if you are changing hinges because they are worn, an easier way to go about this is to buy new hinge pins from auto accessory store. cut the old pins out, intall new ones( bushings come with it) job is done
Buy a new plastic hinge Volvo part number 31265160. To replace the hinge, push the two center pins through using a punch. This will free up the broken hinge and you can remove it. Attach the new hinge to the door, then set the grommets into the openings and push the pins in to retain the grommet. BE CAREFUL NOT TO PUSH THE PINS TOO FAR. All they need to be is flush with the grommet.
