ummm...according to me the main reason behind streets and parks being polluted is our actions itself...we our the one's who through waste packets, wrappers, papers etc,and we are the one's who spit and pee on the streets which leads to the pollution of our environment...
if only we itself start controlling our actions,we can surely have a cleaner and greener environment..!
Streets and parks become polluted due to various human activities, such as littering, improper disposal of waste, and vehicle emissions. Rainwater can carry pollutants from streets into water bodies, further contributing to pollution. In parks, excessive foot traffic and improper waste disposal can lead to pollution of the environment.

Litter pollution refers to the presence of garbage, debris, and waste such as plastic bags, bottles, cans, and cigarette butts in the environment, particularly in public places like streets, parks, and waterways. It can have harmful effects on wildlife, water quality, and public health, and it contributes to an unsightly and unhealthy living environment. Addressing litter pollution requires efforts from both individuals and communities to properly dispose of waste and recycle materials.
If a plant grows in polluted soil, it may absorb toxins present in the soil, which can hinder its growth, development, and overall health. It may also accumulate these toxins in its tissues, making it unsafe to consume. Additionally, polluted soil can disrupt nutrient uptake and lead to nutrient deficiencies in the plant.
Pollution from vehicles and industrial activities can contribute to air and water pollution on streets. Littering and improper waste disposal can also lead to pollution in urban areas. Regular cleanup efforts and proper waste management can help mitigate pollution in the streets.
Polluted groundwater takes a long time to become pure again because the contaminants need to naturally degrade or be filtered out by soil and rocks as the water moves through the ground. Additionally, the size of the aquifer, the type of contaminant, and the depth of the pollution can all affect the timeframe for purification. Treatment methods may also be needed to speed up the process.

The ocean can become polluted with oil spills, industrial dumping, littering, and raw sewage.
Clean water does not pollute, though it can become polluted.
