They refused to surrender. Most of the fighting in WWI occured in France, devestating the cities and the countryside. But the French refused to give in. Led by Grand Marshall Foch, whose slogan was, "Attack! Attack! Attack!" the French held the Germans to a standstill multiple times until America decided to enter the war in 1917.
Since the US soldiers only came in late 1917 they didnt do a whole bunch. What they did do was was rise the amount of allies by 3million which rose the morale of the allies and the fear in the central power's hearts that they might lose. With this addition of soldiers better tactics could be made which would crush the central power.

When they help the french and british troops with supplies
China would win. China has more soldiers, bigger armies, better technology, and strong/growing allies.
the u.s was neutral in the beginning of WWI. People supported different sides but the u.s was fair and friendly to both sides cncerned in the war. the u.s help Britain by lending supplies but only if they could pay for them and come to American ports to get them.
Most of WW1 was trench battles these were deadliy. soposedly the only way we could have won is more troops or more smarter tactics.
