Mussolini used a number of methods in order to sustain his fascist regime in Italy, one of which was his use of Propaganda. Before taking power, Benito Mussolini had been the editor of a high profile socialist magazine (of which the name escapes me) and later created the "Il Popolo d'italia", both of which gave him fundamental skills in effectively using and exploiting propaganda to the national community, and enabled him to realize the way in which it influences the public consciousness. In a list form, the types of propaganda that Mussolini used include

Radio

Magazines

Rallies

Speeches

Cinema

Newspapers

Posters

Culture

Art

In the long and violent rule of Benito Mussolini as "il duce" (or, the leader) of Italy in the early 20th century, propaganda played a very important role. Through newspapers and radio broadcasts, through public displays and building projects, and much more, Mussolini's administration enforced its will -- and its viewpoint -- upon Italians through systematic use of propaganda of all sorts.
