Well i thought that this was common knowledge or something but oh well; first of all get the stain wet, nice and moist, no need for soap though, as that could ruin your sofa if done wrong.

Then go and get a rather dry red wine, graded 1, but 2 will do the job too.

Apply this to folded up kitchen roll and dab gently a few times and then rub in circular motions. After a number of rotations you will begin to see improvement so go and grab the rest of the wine for a nice well done glass! :)

What i have found to work is nothing but nail polish remover. I know this will take away some of the color of your sofa (if it is leather like mine), but u should gently dab it, ONLY ON THE AREA WITH NAIL POLISH. after each dab run your hand over it, or dab with paper towel (preferred). this will help to decrease the power of the chemicals that would deteriorate the color of your sofa.

How do you remove nail polish from your fabric sofa?

try nail polish removerMy solution was, get a washcloth, put a little bit of rubbing alcohol on one side and scrub scrub scrub. It will take it out a little bit. Then wait for no more than a minute! and Pour Acetone nail polish remover on the other half of your washcloth and scrub scrub scrub! Mine came out perfectly easy!If you are really carefull, a tiny bit of nailpolish won't hurt! All you have to do is get a tissue, or something you scrub nail polish normally off with, and get a little bit of remover on it, just enough so it's not really "wet," it just has it on it. From there I would dab lightly, see what happens!! Hope this helped!I'm not 100% sure, but it worked for my leather bag so good luck!
