Mount Pinatubo erupts on an irregular basis, about every 3,000 to 5,000 years. The last big eruption began in 1991.It typically will erupt multiple times during an eruption period before going dormant again.
It's a composite volcano (also known as stratovolcano), which means that it has a big eruption followed by small lava flows. A composite volcano is the deadliest type of volcano and is also the biggest kind.

The largest eruption of Mount Fuji in recorded history occurred in 864 AD. This eruption, known as the Hoei eruption, resulted in the deposition of volcanic ash as far as 100 km away from the volcano and impacted the surrounding areas.
March 20, 1980 was the date of the big eruption.
i think the biggest one is mt vesuvius mt Hawaii or mt ruapehu i think so NO! the last big volcano eruption was Mt Pinatubo. The last massive eruption was Mt Tambora in 1815, and the last super eruption was Lake Toba 73,000 years ago. Toba wiped 60% of the human race. Mt Vesuvias was tiny compared to Tabora and also Krakatoa.
