a terrier mix wheigs up to 25-29 pound well they are medium dogs and love to play with children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they also need lots of love and attention. they don't get that big but you could still pick them up. they would not be heavy. but children under 4 should not pick him or her up with out help from an adult or older sibling that is over 11.
it depends what type of terrier you get ratting terriers about 10 pounds and fighting terriers can be around 50 pounds
i want to get a Shichon puppy so i have been doing a lot of research on them. and what i found is that shichons are very unpretictable because they are from 2 different breeds. But they should grow about 8-25 pounds. usually if you get your shichons at a good breeder they can tell you about how big they will get.
hope that helps

When they are puppies they are tiny and when they grow into an adult then they can get up to 16 or 20 pounds

Shelties come in: Sable Blue Merle Tri Color Bi-Blue Bi-Black Shaded Sable Double Merle - double merle is when two blue merle shelties mate and there baby comes out mostly white. Those shelties are bound to be either deaf or blind. It's sad. :(
