Do you have to separately turn of the mouse and keyboard after shutdown on a mac?
You don't usually have to turn off the "mouse and keyboard" at
all. On some models of the mac, the power button was on the
keyboard, but pressing it starts the computer, it doesn't turn off
the keyboard.
If you have a wireless keyboard/mouse, then if you don't turn
them off they're still running on battery power. The batteries
won't last as long if you don't shut them off, but you don't HAVE
to do it.
