your switch that tells the car that the brake is off is defective
it culd be that u have problems with the hand break calbe, or the diferential

Beneath the handbrake level there would be a small electric/electronic switch which must have got damaged so get it replaced from your mechanic. Usually when your battery light will not turn off, you either are about to have generator problems, you have a bad controller, or you have a bad sensor. You need to have someone check it out.

lift the handbrake boot thing up from around your hand brake lever there is a 10mm nut tighten it up not too much other wise ur back wheels wont turn or will lock up you may need a 10mm long socket not a short-normal 1
